Observação primordial

“E Jesus respondeu-lhe: 

O primeiro de todos os mandamentos é:

 Ouve, ó Israel, o Senhor, nosso Deus, o Senhor é um só.”

 — (MARCOS, 12.29)

1 Replicando ao escriba que o interpelou, com relação ao primeiro de todos os mandamentos, Jesus precede o artigo inicial do Decálogo de observação original que merece destacada.

2 Antes de todos os programas de Moisés, das revelações dos Profetas e de suas próprias bênçãos redentoras no Evangelho, o Mestre coloca uma declaração enérgica de princípios, conclamando todos os Espíritos ao plano da unidade substancial.

3 Alicerçando o serviço salvador que Ele mesmo trazia das Esferas mais altas, proclama o Cristo à Humanidade que só existe um Senhor Todo-Poderoso — o Pai de Infinita Misericórdia.

4.Sabia, de antemão, que muitos homens não aceitariam a verdade, que almas numerosas buscariam escapar às obrigações justas, que surgiriam retardamento, má-vontade, indiferença e preguiça, em torno da Boa Nova; 

5. no entanto, sustentou a unidade divina, a fim de que todos os aprendizes se convencessem de que lhes seria possível envenenar a liberdade própria, criar deuses fictícios, erguer discórdias, trair provisoriamente a Lei, estacionar nos caminhos, ensaiar a guerra e a destruição, 

6. contudo, jamais poderiam enganar o plano das verdades eternas, ao qual todos se ajustarão, um dia, na perfeita compreensão de que “o Senhor, nosso Deus, o Senhor é um só”.

PEACE AMONG NATIONS

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.

We are many peoples, but we share one Creator.

We are many voices, but the same breath of life.

We are many nations, but one humanity.

May the love of God guide us to justice, compassion, and peace.

Let us not destroy what was made in His image.

Let us walk together —

Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, and all —

in the light of oneness, dignity, and love.

Not by war. 

Not by hate.

But by remembering that God is all in all.

105 — Primordial Observation

"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." — (Mark 12:29)

1 In replying to the scribe who asked Him about the first of all commandments, Jesus precedes the initial article of the Decalogue with an original observation that deserves special emphasis.

2 Before all the programs of Moses, the revelations of the Prophets, and His own redemptive blessings in the Gospel, the Master places a vigorous declaration of principles, summoning all Spirits to the plane of essential unity.

3 As the foundation for the saving work that He Himself brought from the Highest Spheres, Christ proclaims to Humanity that there is only one Almighty Lord — the Father of Infinite Mercy.

4 He knew in advance that many men would not accept the truth, that countless souls would try to evade just obligations, and that delays, ill will, indifference, and laziness would arise around the Good News; 

5.nevertheless, He upheld the Divine Unity so that all disciples would come to understand that, while it might be possible to poison their own freedom, invent fictitious gods, stir up discord, momentarily betray the Law, halt on the path, and provoke war and destruction —

6. they would never be able to deceive the design of eternal truths, to which all will one day align themselves, in the perfect understanding that "The Lord our God is one Lord."

Écoute, Israël : Le Seigneur notre Dieu est l’Unique.

Nous sommes plusieurs peuples, mais nous partageons un seul Créateur.

Nous sommes plusieurs voix, mais le même souffle de vie.

Que l’amour de Dieu nous guide vers la justice, la compassion et la paix.

Ne détruisons pas ce qui a été fait à Son image.

Marchons ensemble —

à la lumière de l’unité, de la dignité et de l’amour.
