O único título que eu ostento, que eu carrego comigo, que eu tenho orgulho de ter, é ser advogado, simplesmente advogado, nada mais do que advogado. O que é a advocacia de ontem?
É a advocacia da coragem, é a advocacia da independência, é a advocacia sem tréguas e sem peias, advocacia que não se agacha, que não se põe como vassalos, os causídicos, seja do Ministério Público, seja dos magistrados, sejam os ministros, seja da mídia, não. Nós somos absolutamente independentes, representamos uma espécie de contenção entre os ardores punitivos e o réu, nós somos um escudo de proteção.
