Who is the speaker?
The speaker is Professor Paulo Mendes de Oliveira. According to his official curriculum vitae published by the Brazilian Office of the Attorney General — AGU/SouGov — Paulo Mendes de Oliveira holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul — UFRGS. He completed postdoctoral studies at the Federal University of Bahia — UFBA — and at the University of Salamanca. He is a professor in undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs at IDP and serves as Deputy Attorney General of the Union.
His official curriculum also identifies his technical areas of knowledge as Civil Procedural Law and Tax Law, with areas of interest in Civil Procedure, Tax Law, and Financial Law.
